9th/10thJuly 2011 -BYRDS INTER -REGIONAL
KEYSOE
What a pleasure to see our stallion Top Yellolw back in action
at Keysoe at the BYRDS Inter- regional. On day one of the
two day competion Yellow was very worried and shook the whole
way around the test, having worked in with relaxation and ease.
The judges recognised how anxious he was and how tactfully Ellie
rode him, giving her a 9 for her riding. On the second day ,
Yellow was still worried but held his nerve and produced some
lovely work. Well done to ELLIE and TOP YELLOW and to the
team for finishing in fourth place overall.

Ellie
and Helmeast pose in the grounds of Necarne Castle.
Ellie and the team are awarded first prize at Necarne. Amber
Taylor, Ellie Jolleys, Samantha Morrison, Katie Hughes.
Our much loved Arnie is now retired from competition but is our
chief companion for Helmeast when travelling and is on permanent
'flirt alert' duty for our mares, being a former stallion
himself. To me as a breeder and a parent this pony as well as
Helmeast are what I consider to be the perfect pony for a young
talented dressage rider but not necessarily suitable for most
children, being very sharp and responsive.
