Surprise is an extraordinarily well bred dressage pony stallion, his pedigree above shows you how very well bred he actually is. Whilst not achieving the top level of competition through no fault of his own, our faith in him as a pony and as a sire remains and grows as we see how his offspring are proving themselves already. Two of his three rising 4 year olds have been backed and ridden away by a 10 year old child and an 11 year old child. The video link to Dun Surprise shows her being lunged for third time. She is now riding away happily and is for sale. She is a definite future F.E.I. prospect.

If you are interested in dressage pony bloodlines and you want to breed for success while using stallions based in the UK compare our bloodlines with the top ponies in the world.
Top Yellow
Frozen Semen Only

Top Yellow remains amongst the best ponies in the world ever. The highest scoring Bundeschampion of all time, his offspring are proving to follow in his footsteps with his extraordinary movement, beauty and temperament. We are using our frozen semen on our very best mares and in the future there will be progeny available. DPUK Top Gold (6) and DPUK Goldilocks (5) may be available for lease in the future as they are both F.E.I dressage ponies in the making. Contact Gill for more details.

It is with the deepest sadness that I am informing you, on behalf of our daughter Ellie, of the passing away of the most beautiful pony who ever lived- Top Yellow.  To describe him thus is not an exaggeration or meant in any way to offend or diminish any other pony.  Those of you who have "owned " him- [the word "own" seems completely inadequate and inappropriate for an animal of his stature, grace and beauty], or have even just seen him once, understand that  he had a quality that set him apart.

It is impossible to have seen him once and not be touched by his extraordinary beauty. His  previous owner, Mrs Yvonne Wood, summed him up perfectly when she said" Yellow was too good  for this world"  His vulnerability, his friendly, sensitive  and gentle nature  meant that every precious moment spent with him was special. He and Ellie understood each other from the moment they met and life without him is almost unbearable. He loved being ridden and  enjoyed sharing his magic with us.

Yellow died instantly and did not suffer. He is now at peace, resting in his field next to the bluebell wood. For those of you who knew him but have not seen him for a long time there is a short video of him on you tube  which I think reflects him as he will always remain in all our hearts.
